NELP-VII bid closing date extended
by Jo BlackThe Seventh Round of New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-VII) was launched by the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India on 13.12.2007 at New Delhi, followed by Road Shows at Mumbai, London, Houston, Calgary, Singapore and Perth.
An overwhelming response of stakeholders including E&P companies, service providers, banks/financial institutions, etc., has been evinced for all 57 blocks on offer (29 onland, 19 deepwater and 9 shallow water) under NELP-VII.
In view of persistent demand, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India has decided to extend the bid submission date for NELP-VII from 16.5.2008 to 30.6.2008 so as to give more time to prospective bidders to finalise their bidding strategy.
All the prospective bidders are requested to submit their bids not later than 1200 hrs. IST on 30.6.2008 (Monday) for NELP-VII at the Office of Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, C-139, Sector-63, NOIDA, UP-201301 as indicated in Notice Inviting Offers.
