India-Brazil-South Africa to cooperate in health sector

Steps to contain steel prices

Indian government has announced that steel prices in respect of pig iron, ingots, rounds, TMT, Angles, plates, GP sheets and sponge iron have come down in the range of 3-6 %, during the last two weeks. CAAS inks agreement with AAI

Japan markets decline as other Asian markets recover

Asian equities markets, especially in emerging economies, saw gains on Tuesday after Monday’s losses. Bargain-hunting and higher commodities prices helped bring about the advances.

Singapore shows strong economic growth

Singapore’s economy continued to grow well in 2004, reaching a strong 8.1% for the year.
Manufacturing was especially strong for the year, though overall growth slowed into the fourth quarter, suggesting lower economic growth for 2005 to between 3-5%.
